Overview
Data centres have become critical to the business of today, as the volumes of data generated that need to be processed and stored have grown exponentially. However, there are a number of challenges around maintaining data centres in-house. In addition, the need for redundant data centres in multiple locations increases the financial burden. This has led many organisations to investigate outsourced and hosted data centre services.
Jasco’s offers carrier-neutral data centre services, providing network infrastructure and data centre space for the storage and exchange of traffic from a variety of different networks. We offer industrial hubs that act as Points of Presence (PoPs) throughout Europe and Southern Africa, enabling network and content aggregation in a neutral space.

Industry Challenges
HIGH AVAILABILITY
For data, services and applications
IN-HOUSE DATA CENTRE ISSUES
Cost of infrastructure, reducing carbon footprint, rising cost of utilities and lack of skills in-house can prove problematic. In addition, short technology refresh cycles mean companies can no longer afford to keep upgrading their IT infrastructure.
CARRIER NEUTRALITY
This is essential for telecommunication companies; as it allows for multiple service providers to share a common interconnect space. This ensures customers can access the best services to meet their needs regardless of service provider.
INTERCONNECTS
Interconnects need to be made into regional hubs with access to numerous global locations. This ensures access to unified service models for regional and international businesses.
