Gcebile Madungandaba joined the Jasco Board in 2026 as a Non-Executive Director representing Community Investment Holdings (CIH) and serves as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Within CIH’s Group Finance, Investments and Strategy function, he is responsible for the execution of investment transactions, portfolio oversight and strategic initiatives across the Group. His role includes evaluating and executing acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions, working closely with portfolio company management teams, and representing CIH across a number of its investments.
Prior to joining CIH, Gcebile spent three years in KPMG South Africa’s Deal Advisory practice, where he advised clients on valuations, financial due diligence and mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors, including mining, oil and gas, financial services, infrastructure, media and technology. He began his career in management consulting at Monocle Solutions, where he worked on credit risk, financial data and regulatory transformation projects for major South African financial institutions.
Gcebile is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and also holds the ACMA and CGMA professional designations through the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is a certified Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) and holds a Master of Management in Finance and Investment from Wits Business School, as well as a BCom Honours in Financial Management Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
He brings experience across corporate finance, investment analysis, transaction execution, financial reporting and strategy, supporting Jasco’s governance, strategic development and long-term value creation.
