Pete da Silva

Pete joined the board as an independent non-executive director and was later appointed as group CEO in 2011. He held this position until his retirement in June 2018, when he was appointed interim deputy chairman. He was appointed as Interim group CEO from 31 May 2020 until 28 February 2021 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, while the board evaluated potential permanent successors. From 1 March 2021, Pete returned to the position of alternate non-executive director to the deputy chairman. Prior to joining Jasco, Pete held the positions of CEO at A1GP and SIEMENS South Africa.
